Our Principal Painting team knows how much a proper refinishing job to cabinets can transform the look and feel of kitchens and bathrooms in your home. We are thorough and take extra care to preserve the structural integrity of your cabinets. We’ll handle the project from start to finish, and we promise you’ll love the way your Cabinets look.
At Principal Painting, we go the extra mile to ensure the integrity of your home and it’s cabinets. First we remove and label each cabinet and door and cover the boxes with plastic and tape. We thoroughly sand the surfaces and repair imperfections. We prime, paint, and seal the cabinets before re-attaching them exactly as we found them. Except now they look amazing!
For a top coat, we usually use either Benjamin Moore, Command, or Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane.
From start to finish, it usually takes between 5-7 days. This is from starting preparation to having the Kitchen completely put back together.

During the priming portion of Cabinet finishing, we use oil based primers / bonder. This does have some paint fumes. It is mostly contained and will dissipate within a day.
